To get grout of a required water:cement ratio it is necessary to take account of the grout already in lines and machinery, unless they are empty, of course. This is the key to programmes which calculate the requisite quantities to mix. To use it you indicate the units you are working in and how cement is supplied:

When attempting to do calculations on some of these batching programmes a WARNING sign might appear. This is because some browsers block the running of JavaScript and ActiveX.
